About Barrie Soundwaves

Barrie Soundwaves is a dynamic, award-winning women’s a cappella chorus based in Barrie, Ontario. We bring harmony to life through exciting performances, creative artistry, and a shared love of music. Known for our engaging stage presence and rich, four-part harmony, we entertain audiences across the region at community events, celebrations, and special performances.

We welcome women aged 16 and above, and all experience levels—from lifelong vocalists to those discovering harmony for the first time. Our members come from across Central Ontario, united by friendship, laughter, and a commitment to musical excellence. Together, we continue to grow as performers while creating an environment that is inclusive, supportive, and fun.

Rehearsals are held every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Dorian Parker Centre, Sunnidale Park, 227 Sunnidale Road, Barrie. Visitors are always welcome—join us to experience the energy, connection, and joy that make Barrie Soundwaves truly special.
