On May 10, Barrie Soundwaves hit the stage at the Region 16 Convention and Competition in Pickering, Ontario—our second time competing with Musical Director Leila Brown at the helm. We’re proud to share that we earned 2nd place in Division A and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the performance we delivered.

From the very first chord to the final tag, we sang with heart, energy, and connection. The response from the audience—our Region 16 family—was everything we could have hoped for.

Each contest brings new growth and new memories, and this one will be hard to top. We’re celebrating our progress and already looking ahead to what’s next!
